Notes 

Wiring (Mr. Roche, Ryan A, David Beak, Mr Battis)

  • All motors on Drive Train and El Toro Systems are wired!
  • Software should do a motor test  
  • Working on Sensors (encoders and limit switches)
  • Need to work with Software to get second limit switch on El Toro
  • Donald worked on wiring
  • Mr. Battis has diagram of wiring board to try a laser cut for 2nd board.

 

Catapult (David Eacho)

  • finished first bended shooter, properly bent
  • Working on catapult sub frame
  • Need to make some parts
  • Would it be possible to make uBolt holders out of poly carb ?
  • Yes, and lazer cut…
  • 3D print the beds?
  • Donald worked on mounts for catapult sub frame

Catapult (Mr. Wells)

  • Working on gearbox
  • have to rework shaft
  • started building engagement mechanism

2nd Robot Team (Will Baum, Donald, Jane all worked today, David Beak)

  • worked on brackets for El Toro 
  • Worked on other aluminum bounts
  • worked on 2nd robot catapult sub frame

 

Niles did general all around work

Software (Kevin)

  • Worked on software, basic routines are made
  • should be run and tested
  • also worked on wiring.

 

 

 

Priorities

  • Working Gear Box
  • Keep working on sensor wiring.
  • Springs for El Toro

Supplies Needed

  • Need 3″ 1/4 20 round head

Must

These will happen no matter what

  1. Drive

  • Do this first week, while prototypers prototype
  • Documentation

Should

Prioritize, try to get to as many as possible

  1. Maneuverable (drive train and practice)
  • Mecanum wheels
  • Hold (hardware) a. with potential to shoot if that system comes online b. Loading (hardware) — might not even need this
  • Shoot 8’ (hardware)
  • Some aiming (software)
  • Second robot for driving practice/thinkin’

If Time Permits

Reach goals

  1. Catch
  2. Differential power settings
  3. Vision system
  4. Modular goalie arm (sub 30 lb, replace shooter at competition)

Housekeeping

  • Clean up after yourself
  • Help teammates clean up after themselves
  • We don’t leave until we scrum… we don’t scrum until the shop is clear
  • Half-finished projects go on shelves, not the floor
  • Scrap is only useful if it’s stock, stock is only useful if it’s organized
