– secure lexan floor (maybe drill access holes?)

– select bearings for catapult shaft

3) Catapult

– reinforced spring

– locate places for lower spring mounts

– mount winch and arresting straps near front

– straps need sewed loops on ends

– pivots need bearings prings and winch strap attachment points

– install safety cabling on all springs

– reinforce catapult’s EMT “bale” with wooden dowel inside

– attach catapult bale to subframe with clamps

– should shaft rotate?

– length of straps?

– numbers for throwing the ball?

4) catapult winch

– recut triangle plates

– assemble dogbox on common shaft (must document)

– fabricate and align brackets for winch

– reinforce chassis as necesary

– solder electrical pigtails to gearmotor before installation

– what length should central shaft be trimmed to?

5) winch release/ rewind mechanism

– fabricate winch clutch engagement mechanism.

– finish assembly and install complete winch in chassis

– motor locations?

– limit switches?

6) Electronics board

– establish cable routes to motors and sensors

– secure board to rollbar framework

– design protective covering and system for easy access

7) Sensors and switches

– install all switches and encoders

– loom or fasten wiring to prevent damage or loosening

– final list of sensors?

8) Camera & lights

– strobe installed in conspicuous location

– Camera and LED ring installed

– code for autonomous

– possible uses during teleop?

9) Goalie pole

– mock up and basic dimensions before bag and tag

– is it worth doing?

– risks of 50 pt technical?
