Elevator (Donald)

• Today
  • Elevator mounted @ new higher height
    • need to adjust angle (after testing)
    • check overall height
• Planning

Four Link Arms (Wells, Korn, Jane)

• Today
  • New calculations + design
  • Problem 1: No axle between the hand part
    • need to be stiff
  • Problem 2: Window motors will lock, need to be able to move arms up manually
    • Look in rules to see if we can pull arms before power is cut
    • Safe option: pull a pin + take the arms out
  • “Mittens” that wrap around the barrel –> being laser cut
    • Next step: fingers with wheel
    • Need camera
  • Cables for flipping mechanism cut
  • Four link arms cut to length
• Planning
  • ASSEMBLE!!!
  • Maybe have non-motorized ver. for robot 2
    • Maybe keep arms off for bag-and-tag

 

Electronics (Mr. Battis, Jason, Gillian, Helynna)

• Today
  • Tote switches
    • Need to swap Masonite + cut windows
    • Need min of 1 + max of 4 (per tote)
• Planning
  • Need to make sure switches working (normally open, closed etc.??)
  • Will be able to run robot pretty soon, Need to wire
  • Sonar?

 

Chassis (Jason)

  • ***Please cover roborio when working on robot ***
  • Back bumper all bolted + finished
    • Need to cut zip ties

  • Need to lock tight + clip/file bolts (before bag-and-tag)

    • Hoping to use both for chairman + promotional video
